Two times 10.0 in jumping index – winner of the stallion competition of s’Hertogenbosh

Canturano completed his 70 day test in Adelheidsdorf 2006 and earned himself a first place with 135.20 points for his jumping. For his tremendous scope and  jumping ability he was rewarded with a 10.0! This stallions quality is easy to see with his capacity over the fences and great technique. Already at his license Canturano got a 9.0 for jumping capacity and demonstrates his quality in the look of a modern holsteiner stallion.
Canturano is approved by the KWPN and was described as a stallion that is very careful and shows a tremendous amount of scope. He was assessed with a score of 9 for his scope and 8.5 for his natural ability as a showjumper.

During the stallion competitions 2007-2008 Canturano was rewarded with high scores for the jumping elements time after time and was described as a stallion with very fast reflexes, tremendous scope and body technique over the fences. His first foals presented themselves as sporty types with elastic movements and great impression.
Sire Canturo was a big hit in the showjumping sport ridden by Bernado Alves and his triumphs include participating in the Olympic Games in Athens and the World Championships in Aachen. Additionally Canturo won the Madrid Grand Prix and was fourth in the Aachen Grand Prix. Canturo carries the valuable jumping genes from the Holsteiner breeding line 162. Damsire Coriano likewise performed successfully in the international showjumping ring and is a grandson of the influential Ramiro-daughter Golda out of the 318d2 breeding line. In the third generation Canturano carries the performance blood of Ahorn Z. The renowned breeding stallions, Indorado, Lordanos, Numero Uno, Lux Z and Concerto also carry the blood of Ahorn Z on the dam's side. Canturano himself is a product out of Holsteiner line 2067. Great Grandam Orion (Fontan) enjoys her notoriety as being the Grandam of the sporting stallion Gondose (Gonzales) on whom Hugo Simon won the Hamburg Derby. This widely branched Holsteiner family has also produced the international showjumpers Leonardo, Lordon, Leonides, Con Spirito, Landstreicher, Cattani and Sympatico.
