Blue Hors Zack

The first two crops of foals by Blue Hors Zack have by far met our expectations. 2008 Champion of four-year old stallions at the Danish licensing, the year Blue Hors Zack also celebrated an extraordinary debut in breeding with foals everyone wanted to own. Zick Zack (Gallery) was sold to Portugal for 42,000 Euros and Zugvogel (Gallery) brought 12,000 Euros. Blue Hors Zack is a long-legged, modern day dressage horse with a fantastic movement technique. He also has nerves of steel and a fascinating ability for collection. He finished his stallion performance test Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, as the Reserve Champion in dressage with a 9.5 for his canter. At the Danish licensing in 2008 he became the unquestioned Champion of four-year old stallions. Once again, Zack has dominated the foal shows in Denmark and abroad. He is sire of dressage filly foal of the year in Denmark, sire of the foal of the year in Southern Sweden and sire of several auction foals sold at top prices, among others the most expensive foal at the Danish Warmblod elite foal auction sold at 300,000 dkk.
Zack has won a qualifier for the Danish championships for 5 year-old dressage horses with a score of 9.18 and also proves in his daily training that he is a star in the making.

His sire Rousseau managed a feat no other stallion had achieved so far: He was the sire of the KWPN Champion Stallion three times in a row. The winner of his stallion performance test and Vice World Champion of five-year old dressage horses, he is now active in the US. Rousseau's sire, Ferro, won team silver at the Olympic Games in Sydney and is deemed one of the most influential sires in the Netherlands. Rousseau's dam won ribbons in Grand Prix.

Blue Hors Zack's dam, Orona, who successfully competed in medium (M) level competitions, did an excellent job at her broodmare performance test. She is by Jazz, an internationally successful stallion who stands at the top of the WBFSH rankings . In the third generation the stallion performance test winner and sport horse-maker, Belisar, adds an extra rouch of refinement through the Thoroughbred stallion, Saros xx.
