Blue Hors Leredo

Leredo has achieved the unique result of being appointed champion stallion three times in Herning. As a 4 year-old Leredo obtained 899 points at the suitability class. At the final of the young horse championship in 2006 he scored 912 points and got 9.5 for trot, 10 and 9.5 for rideability and capacity from the test rider.  In 2006 Leredo won a championship qualifier with 8.62 points. His success continued seamlessly and in 2008, when he was seven years old, he was already winning St. Georges and Intermediaire I classes.

Out of his first crop Leredo produced the filly of the year in Denmark, Filippa who has Don Schufro as dam sire.  His first foal crops immediately produced champion foals in Denmark and auction foals in Vechta. He was also the sire of the Danish Filly of the Year and Colt of the Year in 2005 and 2007. The enormous movement capacity of his offspring (Gallery), which are always bay or brown, is highly convincing. Leredo’s sire is the elite stallion Leandro who needs no further introduction.Both in Holstein and in Denmark Leandro has produced numerous competition horses as well as approved stallions and highly decorated mares. Through Leandro, Leredo carries the time-tested genes of the millionaire sire, Landgraf I, and his sire, Ladykiller xx, both of which sired top horses for all equestrian disciplines. Leandro set a monument with his son, Levisto Z, a stallion internationally successful with Judy Ann Melchior and many other first class dressage horses and show jumpers which has given him an excellent reputation in Denmark and Holstein.Dam sire Rafa-L by Racing Ace xx/Limelight only had very few breedings before he was sold to Germany as a competition horse. Great dam sire Oldenburger Triumph by Tiro is elite stallion and managed to produce several top sport horses despite his untimely passing. Leredo's granddam was also the dam of the 1994 Danish Champion Mare and a silver medal winning mare.
